W

elcome to the 2025 Power List, the must-have directory for doing business in Alaska. Whether you’re looking for clients, services, or materials providers, the ranked lists and industry directories contained within these pages will point you in the right direction.

For our industry directories, all companies operating within the listed industries are invited to submit their information, which is proofed and published free of charge. If you own or represent a company that is not currently listed, please send an email to surveys@akbizmag.com with your contact information and a brief summary of the goods or services your company provides; we will send you a survey so you can be included in the 2026 Power List.

While information is gathered through our standard survey process, all of the ranked lists have additional criteria: The Top 49ers must be headquartered locally and are ranked by revenue; The Corporate 100 companies must have a local address and Alaska business license and are ranked by number of Alaska employees; The Best of Alaska Business entities are voted on by our readers; the Legal Elite are nominated by licensed lawyers; and the Top Docs are nominated by licensed medical doctors. All of the ranked lists are printed exactly as they were originally published, which we do to ensure that any updates or changes don’t make the original lists/rankings appear to be inaccurate.

We hope you have many opportunities to utilize this invaluable resource, and if you have any recommendations to make improvements to the 2026 Power List, please send an email with your recommendations to surveys@akbizmag.com. Enjoy!

ARG Industrial
Where the Pros Go for Hose and Rigging

RG Industrial exemplifies a company forged through growth, consolidation, and innovation. In February 2023, Alaska Rubber Group rebranded to ARG Industrial, marking a pivotal moment in its evolution. The company’s new moniker pays homage to its Alaska roots while being inclusive of its growth and expansion into industrial sectors beyond hose and fittings. The rebranding unified the company’s subsidiary trade names under one banner, enhancing clarity for customers and employees.

Founded in 1980 as Alaska Rubber and Supply Inc. in Anchorage, the company has experienced steady growth and various name changes. In 2006, Alaska Rubber Group emerged, and the business became 100 percent employeeowned. Today ARG Industrial boasts five locations in Alaska, eight locations in the Pacific Northwest, and more than 200 employees.

Extensive North Slope Logistics

O

n Alaska’s North Slope, the terrain, climate, and remote setting can make movement of supplies, equipment, and other cargo challenging. Lynden’s diverse family of companies offers a comprehensive solution. Lynden enables North Slope customers to access multi-modal transportation and logistics services from a single source, so they can ship freight efficiently, seamlessly, and safely.

Lynden has a vast fleet of company-owned equipment, including trucks, barges, landing craft, hovercraft, Hercules aircraft, PistenBully snowcats, specialized equipment, and trailers and containers. Whether by land, sea, and/or air, customers can use Lynden’s transportation options to ship almost any size and type of cargo.

Lynden tailors execution strategies to customers’ budget and timetable while advocating this pragmatic philosophy: pay for the speed you need. “You tell us when it’s ready to ship and when you want it delivered, and we’ll figure out the rest,” says Jacob Harrison, Corporate Account Manager for Lynden Transport, part of the Lynden family of companies. “On any given day, we’re combining barge, truck, and air capabilities to move freight to the North Slope as efficiently and effectively as possible.”

Two Friends Coaching & Consulting
Helping people grow and achieve their goals

“Y

ou can have anything you want, and I can show you how to get it,” boldly declares Holly Zachman, MBA, founder of Two Friends Coaching & Consulting. “It’s a big claim, but it’s so true, and we have experience after experience of people doing it.”

Zachman, who has studied personal development and human potential for over thirty years, offers unique “mindset” coaching services. She helps people better understand how their mind operates, so they can enhance their thinking and experience the results they want. “Your mindset is the biggest determinant of your outcome,” she explains. “A full 95 percent of everything we think, feel, act, and decide comes from our mindset, of which most of us are unaware because we are so habitual. When you’re looking to improve your life or your results, you’re the only one who can do it.”
